Joe Corrie (1894 – 1968) was a miner, poet and playwright who lived and worked in the Fife mining community of Cardenden. His plays and sketches were performed by the amateur Bowhill Players and later by the professional Fife Miner Players who may also be the Joe Corrie’s Players featured in the these recordings.
